Who am I?

My name is Carl. By trade I’m an engineer. By hobby I’m a guy who thinks that 99% of websites suck (including yours) and I’d like to share my feelings.

What’s this site about?

The short version: This is a site where I review other websites. I talk about what I like and don’t like about each site.

And the long version?

I take websites that have volunteered to be reviewed. If I’m in a particularly foul mood I might rail against an established site which hasn’t volunteered, but I’ll have to be pretty pissed off. People will submit their websites, if I’m interested I’ll look it over and write a review. I’ll point out things I like and things I hate and I don’t plan on holding back. I may even use some dirty words, so don’t let your kids use this site for their bedtime reading. The site being reviewed will get a link back and free publicity from me.

What does this cost?

Just like my ex-wife the service is free at first but might cost you an arm and a leg down the road. You’ll just have to wait and see. Depends on how many sites I get sent to review.

Any sites you don’t want to review?

Hell yes.  I don’t want to review a million “make money online” sites which just copy from Problogger.net.  If you have nothing original to say save yourself the energy you’ll spend e-mailing me.  Take that energy and make some good content.  Also no porn sites and no splogs.

Other than that I’m game.

Do you have any qualifications to review sites?

No, except I spend the majority of my day sitting in front of a computer and have been looking at websites since the world wide web was a fad.  I know what I like and I know what I don’t like.  If you disagree with me I hope you won’t be shy.
